Dr. Anthony Morris

Elder Anthony Morris, a native of Pendleton, NC, embarked on a dynamic journey of service and ministry. His path began with 15 years in the military, during which he discovered his calling to the ministry while deployed in Desert Storm in 1991. Ordained in Hinesville, GA, under Bishop Bobby Kindley, he served at Light of The World Deliverance Center for five years, excelling as Choir Director and Associate Minister.

Transferring to Tague, Korea, he continued his impactful ministry as Assistant Pastor for the Gospel Service. Returning to Georgia, he furthered his calling for seven years at Hinesville Christian Fellowship in various ministries. Later, he relocated to North Carolina, partnering with Faith Overcomes Ministry as Assistant Pastor for two years before settling in Arlington, VA, where he joined The Love of Christ Bible Way Church.

Under Bishop Carver Poindexter's guidance, he served in multifaceted roles—Christian Education Superintendent, Men's President, Ushers President—while pursuing academic excellence. Elder Morris holds degrees ranging from an Associate in General Studies to a Doctorate in Ministry. He shares his life's journey with his wife, Sematar Morris, their three children, and four grandchildren.
